Where are you based?
Sunny Perth, Western Australia. If you’re local - I’m based in South Guildford but I can travel all over Perth (and even further too). If you’re not in Perth that’s ok - I’ve been to North West WA for events, shot a cookbook for a client in Queensland, and have clients who send products from Brisbane, Melbourne, Tassie..
Can you come to me?
Sure can! Food shoots are best done at your premises if it’s a cafe/restaurant of course. If you are service based business - we can arrange a location best suited to your brand. These are best booked well in advance, so I can organise care for my kiddo.
I also have a small home studio perfect for product shoots - these work best if you send me your wares or drop them off and I get shooting. When I’m in the zone I’m not only faster but much more creative, meaning a better outcome for you! And these days with a baby I’m needing to work around someone else’s schedule sometimes!
Do you help with styling/art direction?
Having experience in branding means we know a thing or two about creating content to compliment your business. So we love to have a chat about your brand, what you need, offer suggestions and basically work alongside you to create content you love but that also makes your business stand out.
What payment options are there?
Typically we send you an invoice after the shoot and you receive your images as soon as your invoice is paid. This can be paid via bank transfer or credit card if you prefer.
Our subscription services are a recurring payment set to your chosen schedule and are deducted from your nominated debit/credit card.
We also offer payment plans if your budget is a little tight.
How many photos do I get?
This varies depending on the type of shoot and your needs. We can give you an estimate after we’ve discussed the ins and outs of the shoot. But we reckon you should get to have everything you love - so you receive all of the images from your session. None of this “10 images and pay more for the rest!'“
What days do you work?
Now I’ve got a baby I’m only working part time, shooting days will vary, so it’s best to book well in advance.
We have a range of backdrops, plates, bowls etc and we’re always adding to the collection. We are happy for you to supply anything specific, or help you source things for your shoot. Additional items purchased are not included in your session cost.
Do you have props?
This depends on your business and what you need. Cafe’s and restaurants usually go for quarterly - typically when you change your menu seasonally. Other food based businesses might choose monthly - if you need content more regularly. We have a few clients who do fortnightly/weekly sessions because they have new flavours/products on a more regular basis. If you’re not still not sure - we’re happy to help you figure out what’s best.
I’m interested in a subscription, but don’t know how often is best?
Sure do! True foodies at heart - and a bit of a wiz in the kitchen - if you’re working on a cookbook/eBook/another magical foodie resource then we are SUPER interested to chat about your vision.
